Volunteering

2024 - Present
Field Research Assistant for Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA)

As a volunteer, I maintained loggers at Rocky Bay on a weekly basis to support seagrass monitoring and contribute to marine conservation efforts. I participated the laboratory sessions to process seagrass samples. My volunteer work was featured in this video created by DBCA

2022 - 2023
SERAG Program Coordinator

On the first Saturday of every month, I lead a group of UWA student volunteers and oversee the conversation program as the program coordinator for the Swan Estuary Reserves Action Group (SERAG). We host volunteering events that involve planting, handweeding, and rubbish-collecting to look after the precious marine reserves SERAG manages.
